Great to have you here! Let me tell you a little about my blog. I have always loved writing- particularly about mental health. While I enjoy publishing in peer-reviewed journals, there is nothing like putting raw, free flowing ideas onto a platform that can be quickly disseminated to a wider audience.
There are many sources where people get their information today- whether it's journal articles, social media, blogs, Google or even ChatGPT - the content can seem endless. I hope to be a source you can turn to in need, to feel a little less alone. Throughout my blogging, I will share information on how to better understand your emotions and ways to more effectively respond to these emotions, to reduce suffering.

Of note, while I am a licensed clinical psychologist, if you are experiencing clinical levels of distress or impairment, please note that this is not intended to be a replacement for therapy. I hope to share evidence-based ideas that can help supplement therapy, and I also strongly recommend finding a personal psychologist for individual or group treatment.
