Dr. Diamond specializes in treating anxiety, OCD and trauma. She utilizes evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), prolonged exposure (PE) therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). She is also passionate about incorporating mindfulness, self compassion and integrative therapy into her work, to best suite each client's needs. Dr. Diamond has worked with adults, young adults and late adolescents in outpatient, partial hospital, residential and inpatient settings. She also has extensive group therapy experience.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Diamond has experience conducting and disseminating research, as well as teaching and supervising trainees. She is interested in researching effective treatments for anxiety as well as better understanding suicide in the young adult population. She has been invited to give talks in the community, lead workshops, and chair symposiums at national conferences. Dr. Diamond has worked as a teaching fellow for high schoolers and college students for courses including General Psychology, Psychology of Learning, Experimental Psychology and Cognitive Psychology.
Currently Dr. Diamond is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and New York. Dr. Diamond's interest in empathy and connection remains a cornerstone of her clinical work. She strives to be curious, compassionate and flexible with her clients, to help each person best understand and respond to their thoughts and emotions.
